Abby's News!!!

Abby went poop on the big potty!!!!! woooot woooot!! I think it was an accident but hey, We'll take it!!!

I have just started potty training her a little and put her on the potty a few times a day just to see what will happen.
I found her in the bathroom yesterday trying to get her diaper off so I sat her on the potty. Well she was just sitting there and I said "go pee pee", after a few minutes and made a funny face hunched up her shoulders, and pooped!!!
YAY!!! She was sooo proud as were we!!!

Made me think

I got this e-mail fwd from my Dad and it made me think of my cousin and what she is going through right now, I would like to share it....

Subject: Great Whale Story

A female humpback whale had become entangled in a spider web of crab
traps and lines.

The whale was weighted down by hundreds of pounds of traps that caused
her to struggle to stay afloat.
She also had hundreds of yards of line rope wrapped around her body,
her tail, her torso, a line tugging in her mouth.

A fisherman spotted her just east of the Faralon Islands (outside the
Golden Gate in San Francisco) and radioed for help.
Within a few hours, the rescue team arrived and determined that she was
so bad off, the only way to save her was to dive in and untangle her; a
very dangerous proposition. One slap of the tail could kill a rescuer.

They worked for hours with curved knives and eventually freed her.

When she was free, the divers say she swam in what seemed like joyous
circles.

The whale then came back to each and every diver, one at a time, nudged
them, and pushed gently, thanking them.

Some said it was the most incredibly beautiful experience of their
lives.

The guy who cut the rope out of her mouth says her eye was following
him the whole time, and he will never be the same.....

May you, and all those you love, be so fortunate... to be surrounded by
people who will help you get untangled from the things that are binding
you. And, may you always know the joy of giving and receiving
gratitude.

We are here for you Kate...and all the tangles you may encounter on the way to your healing. Love you so much!

UGH!!

I have three sick kids!!!

Kaleb has an upper respiratory cold that I think is getting worse by the day. Abby has croup and ava has a sore throat and a fever of 101.2. The poor child got her tonsils out a month ago and had a sore throat for almost 2 week and now she has another one!!
Although all three are not feeling well I am really happy that they are colds and not the stomach bug!! This I can deal with, the stomach flu, NO WAY!! So I am thankful for that. Sorry that they are sick but so glad it is what it is.
I will try and get some pictures and videos up soon.

In Loving Memory...

I am sad to tell you that my cousins husband Randy passed away on Tuesday January 6th at 1:07pm. He had been fighting Scleroderma for two and a half years. Randy leaves behind his loving Wife (my cousin ) Kate as Well as his 1 year old son Alek. Please keep my cousin Kate in your prayers! She is having a very difficult time and needs all your prayers. The link to her blog is on the side margin of my blog. It is called
"A family in need" or Kate and Randy. I can't remember which name it is under. When you get to her blog the title will be "One Day At A Time". Please feel free to leave her some encouraging words of support. Thank You.

To All my friend's and family

I am writing this Email to ask you all for your deepest prayers. My cousin's husband, (the one suffering from Scleroderma) or what I call "Tin man's disease", because that is just what it's like, is not doing well at this time. Hospice has gotten involved and feel that at this point it is only a matter of time. Please pray for comfort for Randy, and strength for Kate, her parents, and Randy's family, along with all who know him and love him.
Randy is a kind and gentle man who would give the shirt off his back for anyone who might need it, even if he didn't know them. This world can be a cruel place and many times we don't understand why these things happen to such wonderful people. All we can hold in our hearts is that the Lord has a plan for him. What that plan is, we don't know, but for a man like Randy it only be a great one. One that only Randy can full-fill.
Thank you all for your prayers, they are greatly appreciated.
Love Tera
